Hobbycraft

It is always hard to portray objects on a TV ad and simply throwing them around on a graduated lit background or using CGI, like so many do, is not the answer. People are interested in people and hence a way has to be worked out to show how objects relate to people and how they’re used. This of course could also be dull, someone doing a painting can be interesting to watch but a group of singing ladies painting a guy in swim trunks would make it a lot of fun!

This concept was beautifully developed by the creative team at Walker Agency who were responsible for Hobbycraft’s national campaign.

Credit must also be given to Hobbycraft for the trust and brave attitude they had for the concept, needless to say this ad was very well received and increased the client’s profile to new heights.
